Headquartered in New Delhi, India, the Council (CHP) advocates the development of sustainable healthcare systems around the world. CHP engages with Governments and Stakeholders, encouraging meaningful dialogue to usher in sensible policies and innovative approaches that increase efficiencies and optimise the value chain and ecosystem involved in treating human disease and improving health standards.
To facilitate easy access and smooth flow of high quality, affordable healthcare products and solutions so they become mainstream, enabling Governments to achieve the millennium development goal of healthcare for all.
The CHP has been set-up to create a global environment for sustainable development and growth of the entire healthcare spectrum. This includes Hospitals, Diagnostics, Pharmaceuticals & Medical Devices Manufacturers. The Council supports areas that result in ease-of-doing business; increase competitiveness; broaden access to safe, efficacious and affordable healthcare services and medicines. The Council’s role includes but is not limited to stimulating the generation, translation and dissemination of valuable knowledge, technical support, catalyzing necessary change and building sustainable institutional capacity.
